Kennedy to Host Homeland Security Committee Site Visit to Buffalo

(WASHINGTON) – Today and tomorrow, Rep. Tim Kennedy (D-NY), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Emergency Management & Technology, and Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, will lead a site visit with Committee Democrats to Buffalo, New York to conduct oversight of Border Patrol and Coast Guard operations near the U.S.-Canada border, meet with local leaders on the impact of the 2022 domestic terrorism mass shooting in Buffalo, and renew calls for justice after the tragic death of Nurul Amin Shah Alam in February after he was abandoned by DHS.
