Reps. Rose and Cleaver to Hold Virtual Forum on Extremism during the COVID-19 Pandemic
(WASHINGTON) – On Wednesday, May 20th at 1:00pm EDT, Rep. Max Rose (D-NY), Chairman of the Intelligence & Counterterrorism Subcommittee, and Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) will hold a virtual forum on how threats from domestic and international terrorism have evolved and grown during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on how extremists of all stripes have sought to exploit the pandemic, how existing movements have been amplified during this time, and how the government could and should be responding.
