TOMORROW @ 9:30AM: Congressional Hearing on Diversity, Equity, and Accountability at the U.S. Coast Guard

(WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, June 23rd the Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), will hold a virtual hearing to continue the Committee’s oversight of culture and climate issues across the Coast Guard, including at the Coast Guard Academy.

This hearing will provide Members the opportunity to follow up with the Commandant on the Committee’s joint investigation into the Coast Guard’s policies for investigating allegations of harassment and bullying, and to explore how the Coast Guard must create a more welcoming environment for women, minorities, and others who seek to serve our country.

This virtual hearing will be streamed live on YouTube and on our website.
