TOMORROW @ 10AM: Hearing on Developing Our Cybersecurity Workforce
(WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, July 29th the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, & Innovation, chaired by Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), will hold a virtual hearing to gain greater understanding of the current challenges in developing a well-trained cyber workforce, to learn more about what the government is currently doing to address those challenges, and what more is needed to address the existing gaps. This hearing will focus on the importance of K-12 cyber education in growing and diversifying the cyber talent pipeline, opportunities to re-skill workers to fill high-demand cyber jobs, and how to include operational technology cybersecurity in workforce training programs.
