TOMORROW @ 10AM: Hearing with Coast Guard Commandant Linda Fagan
(WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, June 14th, the Subcommittee on Transportation & Maritime Security chaired by Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) will hold a hearing to hear from the new Commandant of the Coast Guard, Admiral Linda Fagan, on the future of the Coast Guard (USCG), including efforts to overhaul an aging fleet, build a strong workforce, and make meaningful progress towards equity and inclusion across all levels of the Coast Guard. Admiral Fagan is the first female ever to lead a branch of our armed forces and this is her first hearing after being sworn in as Commandant.
