TOMORROW @ 2PM: Hearing on the Transformation of DHS 20 Years After 9/11
(WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, September 30th the Subcommittee on Oversight, Management & Accountability, chaired by Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA), will hold a virtual hearing to review the transformation of the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) management since the Department’s creation almost 20 years ago, including its efforts to address key challenges identified on GAO’s High-Risk List. The hearing will provide an opportunity to examine DHS’s progress implementing a more coordinated, uniform management approach across the Department’s components, as well as areas where DHS can further improve management to achieve the Department’s mission.
