TOMORROW @ 9:30AM: Congressional Hearing on TSA 20 Years After 9/11
(WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, September 29th the Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), will hold a virtual hearing to discuss how far the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has come since its inception as well as how it needs to continue to evolve.
This hearing will provide Members the opportunity to focus on the ways in which threats to transportation and TSA’s mission have evolved over the past 20 years, the need for continued reforms for the workforce, and the challenges TSA currently faces among the pandemic, unruly passengers, and cyber threats to the transportation sector.
This virtual hearing will be streamed live on YouTube and on our website.
