TOMORROW @ 9:30AM: Election Security Hearing on Threats to Election Officials and Infrastructure

(WASHINGTON) – Tomorrow, July 20th, the Committee on Homeland Security, chaired by Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), will hold a hearing to explore ongoing challenges to election security in advance of the midterm elections. While concerns such as the cybersecurity of voting machines and registration databases remain, the aftermath of the 2020 election highlighted growing threats to the physical security of elections with an increase in threats to election officials.
